Join us in congratulating Prof. Schepartz on receiving the 2021 Mertes Award presented by The University of Kansas. She was nominated by the Medicinal Chemistry graduate students for one of their department’s highest honors following “the tradition of being wholly student-driven, something highly valued by the late Professor Mertes.” Prof. Schepartz presented the named lecture on April 19, 2022 on her work entitled “Sequence-defined Chemical Polymers from a Repurposed Translation Machine.” The list of awardees can be found here.
